Well the tile maker has proved a great hit with over 2,000 visitors on its first day... see below for more information.
Tile (Kaleidoscope) Maker. Pt2
I know that although many people used and enjoyed the Tile maker a number of people were unsuccessful with their attempts to use it. Firstly we found a bug (thanks to reports by users) which has now been sorted. There are two further things which we have found do affect the programme.
1. Give it plenty of time to load. It can take a while to load especially if the picture you are using is large.
2. Pop-Up Blockers will stop the programme from working properly. You will probably have one built into your Browser and you may have stand alone one or one built into a security suite.
If you don't know how to "allow" a pop-up blocker for our site I will be putting some instructions in the help section of the gallery. You will find The Tile Makers /Instructions and Video here: HERE
This week we have done a set of Parrot Papers. A nice flying parrotwhich makes a rather nice overall design when repeated over a sheet. As normal we have backing papers, inserts and tags / labels. WE hope you enjoy them.
Over the next few weeks we are going to try doing a few sheets for occupations, teachers, police etc etc... if you have any particular requests in this area please let us know.
New Templates
Well we've decided to try something new "3D templates". Now don't expect too much as we are new to this although we are learning quickly. Our very first one is simply a chick whose beak stands out when the card is opened. Not very "3D" I admit but its a start :-) Janet has some instructions on how to use it on her blog.
Another small plea for help. Again if you are a member of a forum or mailing list which allows such things some publicity for the new tile maker would be appreciated.
