Well a strange week this week. What we do have for you is two complete sets of papers for you. That's complete with Decoupage, backing papers, Pyramid papers etc etc, enough to make lots of different cards (one set includes backing papers the other doesn't). What we haven't been able to bring you is the latest set of Brewster Papers. Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond our control, we have had to delay those till another week.
A bonus this week is the mending of the Backing Paper builder, it can now handle punctuation, see below for details. Also we have a project from Janet which we haven't had for a while. She has made a great card with our "P Factor" papers.
Lastly please do read the bit about the "social buttons" they are a really simple way for you to help us and get more publicity for the site.
Hanukkah Papers.
Here, by request and following last weeks Christmas Papers, we have a complete set of Hanukkah papers. As well as the normal backing papers, insert, tags etc there is also a piece of decoupage and some pyramid papers. Hope you like them.
This is a really great set of papers, based on four different characters, a sax player, 2 singers and a guitar player. We have a complete set of papers for you, from decoupage to page curls and frames. Plenty to make up many different cards.
CRAFT CALENDAR Plenty going on this week including a Craft Show run by our friends at the Creative Crafts Association. If you are in the Sunderland area on Sunday you won't want to miss the Max Papercraft Show. Check out the site for further details. www.craftcalendar.co.uk
P Factor.
Both Janet and her daughter Megan have made great cards from this weeks P Factor Set. You will find step by step instructions on Janets blog.
As noted above the Backing Paper Builder has now been rebuilt. It can now handle an apostrophe, quote marks, question mark etc etc.
If you have never used the Backing Paper Builder before it is a very simple (free) online programme which will help you make a personalised backing paper using someones date, birth date or any other text you would like. There is a demonstration of how to use the Backing Paper Builder in this weeks video above however, it is very easy to use.
If you have your own website or blog we have some CODE which will allow you to put the Builder on there so your visitors can use it.
You will notice we have added "Social Buttons" all over the site. This means those of you who use Facebook, Blogger or Twitter will be able to quickly share any of our designs or sets with your friends on those services. Don't worry if you don't use any of those, there is also an email button which enables you to email a friend the link and a Google +1 button.
Sharing designs off our site with your friends is a great way to get them interested in your Facebook / Twitter feed and Blog. It also does us a lot of good with publicity and visitors which is fantastic. Help our site. Get sharing today! Why not share these latest sets of papers, or last weeks Christmas ones!
Well that just about brings us to the end of this weeks newsletter. Please do make use of the Backing Paper Builder and, if you like it, don't forget to share it with all your crafting friends. It might be just what they are looking for. Do mention it in any forums you are a member of but only IF YOU ARE ALLOWED.
